goal: the result or achievement toward which effort is directed.

I love goals!  I love achieving them, making lists on how to get there, and then checking it off, yes!  Here are some I have that I want to accomplish and check off the list this summer.

1. BECOME DEBT-FREE!!!! I absolutely cannot wait for this day! :)

2. Accomplish FPU's/Dave Ramsey's baby steps.

3. Complete my first 1/2 marathon by running the Dam2Dam.

4. Run the BIX in Davenport, Iowa.  I've heard this race is so fun...but I might be on vacation during this...

5. Learn to play this duet with sister (complete with dance moves and all ;)

6.  Go on vacation somewhere warm!

7.  Start rollerblading!

8. Go blonde!

9.  Continue to learn Spanish con mis amigos Anna y Cesar!

10. Watch a movie at a drive-in movie theatre.

11. Garage sale it up!

12. Visit the "Twister" House, where they filmed the final scene of the movie.  (Little known fun fact - our old house in Story City, a beautiful Victorian, was considered for this scene, but did not make the "cut" as it was too close to a gravel road).

13. As always, try to become more domesticated! ;)

"blogger's block"

Ever heard of the term "blogger's block"(similar to writer's block")?! Well, I'm new to this blogging world, and yes, I'm afraid to admit it - I have "blogger's block"! And I've only blogged a few times, sad! If you know me well, I bet you are smiling just reading this! ;)

I think I'm still in the process of determining what I want this blog to look like/be. Do I want it to be a money saving blog, crafty blog, personal blog, or random blog. Suggestions would be much appreciated! :)

Want to get free giftcard/s?  Don't mind getting e-mail ads sent to you and clicking on them for a breif second?  Ever make online purchases?

If you answered yes to any of the above questions, read on!

My sister, Ashley, introduced me to MyPoints awhile back.  All you have to do is:

1. Sign-up
2. Click on the ads

By clicking through the ads you earn points.  These points then add up to redeem for giftcards at various stores from dining to shopping.  It doesn't take much time at all!  Literally, I just click and exit within a second.

You can also earn points just by making your normal online purchases.  To do so, make sure you are logged onto your MyPoints page.  Simply find the company you are wanting to make purchases from, click their link, check-out, and you've just earned points!  For example, I recently bought a plane ticket through United.  By doing so  I was instantly rewarded with points.  It's that easy!

Another way to earn quick points is by referring people!  Let me know if you'd like to join, and I can refer you!  :)

Tip: When singing up you have to fill out areas of interest for you.  A tip I recommend is selecting that you're interested in everything possible.  This way, you will get more mail sent to you and can click on more ads, thus earning more points.
