My sister, Ashley, introduced me to MyPoints awhile back. All you have to do is:
1. Sign-up
2. Click on the ads
By clicking through the ads you earn points. These points then add up to redeem for giftcards at various stores from dining to shopping. It doesn't take much time at all! Literally, I just click and exit within a second.
You can also earn points just by making your normal online purchases. To do so, make sure you are logged onto your MyPoints page. Simply find the company you are wanting to make purchases from, click their link, check-out, and you've just earned points! For example, I recently bought a plane ticket through United. By doing so I was instantly rewarded with points. It's that easy!

Tip: When singing up you have to fill out areas of interest for you. A tip I recommend is selecting that you're interested in everything possible. This way, you will get more mail sent to you and can click on more ads, thus earning more points.
